I'm trying to setup a testing lab to test the AlwaysOn feature and my question is could I set this up using SQL Server 2012 Developer Edition?
I always thought this edition has same exact features as the Enterprise Edition but when trying enable the feature on the primary node I get the following error:
The AlwaysOn Availability Groups feature requires the x86(non-WOW) or x64 Enterprise Edition of SQL Server 2012 (or later version) running on Windows Server 2008 (or later version) with WSFC hotfix KB 2494036 installed. This SQL Server edition and/or Windows Server System does not meet one or more of the requirements.
I'm trying to do this using:
SQL 2012 Developer Edition
Windows Server 2008 R2
All necessary patches are in place including the one mentioned above
Anyone able to set this up using SQL 201 Developer Edition?
Thanks

I see you've applied the hotfix but have you set up a Windows Server Failover Cluster?

Yes, all the failover cluster work has been done and checked ok.
