I have several subscriptions that fail intermittently - some days they work, others they don't. I have looked through the SSRS log files but it is as though the subscription doesn't even start? There are no errors.
The status in the Subscriptions table simply says "Pending" or "The delivery extension for this subscription could not be loaded."
Has anyone come across this before?
I am running SQL 2008 R2 SSRS via Scaled-Out deployment across a cluster.

We had a similar issue at our workplace and it was tracked down to the two cluster servers not having the same configuration. See if your clustered servers are on the same Windows version and if the settings and permissions are the same on both.

Pleases Keep in mind SSRS is not cluster aware. For Example time of Subscription Node1 failover to Node 2 then your subscription don't work. You need to failover Node 1 back to Node 1
