Hi All,
When I read the document, it says "You cannot install SQL Server 2012(x64) Enterprise on a computer running the Windows 7 Professional (X64) Operating system".
However, I did install it on my local computer which is Windows 7 Professional SP1.
Select @@version, I got the output:
Microsoft SQL Server 2012 - 11.0.2100.60 (X64)
Feb 10 2012 19:39:15
Copyright (c) Microsoft Corporation
Enterprise Edition (64-bit) on Windows NT 6.1 <X64> (Build 7601: Service Pack 1)
I am confused. can install or can;t install?

You can definitely install it. I think the issue is that it is not a supported configuration. In other words, Microsoft would not provide support if you called them with problems.
