I have a development 2012 instance that is used for testing. After running IS packages to populate a data warehouse I am unable to remote desktop to it and SQL gives out of memory errors.
I did load SP1 and SP1 CU2. Is this a SQL bug (wouldn't be surprised) or should I search elsewhere.

There are indeed memory leaks in SQL 2012 SP1+. I don't know that your dev box would be open to them tho.
Did you set the max memory for SQL Server? That is a MANDATORY setting. Also, I would consider bouncing the ssis service just in case that wound up eating too much memory.
And what else is running on the box?

Hi
I found the problem. I changed to a new blade(all new hardware) and now the problem does not come up anymore. I did not test what it was exactly but the last error I got on that server was for memory parity so I presume it was memory or motherboard.
