Hi, I'm searching a software that allows to govern or orchestrate SQL Server agent jobs
distributed on more SQL Server instances.
With a such tool, I could establish that a certain job must start after the execution of another job.

We've just purchased a product called JAMS from MVP Systems that is able to manage SQL Agent jobs as well as Windows jobs. We're starting out by using it to manage Windows batch jobs, so haven't tried it with SQL jobs yet.

Hi Greg, thanks for your answer.
Have you a link and/or major details to provide me?
Moreover, do you know if the does solution allow to orchestrate the SQL Server agent job as a workflow?
Thanks

Another such product is Skybot, http://www.skybotsoftware.com. It claims to run across multiple platforms, such as SQL Server, Oracle, SAP, etc.

Another is "Tidal enterprise scheduler" it is compatible with unix/linux also.
It's great product, I can't speak on the others suggested but this one allows for dependencies on jobs regardless, sql, dos, windows, unix, etc.. It was bought by Cisco more recently.
