Hello!
I have problem, because I have SQL Server 2008 R2, and we have to install 180 day trial, and now that 180 days has been expired, and Management studio won't start. Says something about "Evaluation period has been expired".
So, how do I get Management studio back to work? I have to get lisence, what kind of? If I reinstall the whole thing, what happens to my databases and other settings?
Sorry about terrible english! 🙂

I would recommend purchase a copy of the developer edition, costs around $50 and has the same features as the Enterprise edition, just it can only be used for development never for production use.

Hello, and thanks for your reply!
This SQL is in production use, so I can't use that developer version?

Well your violating the licence terms of the evaluation edition running it in a truly production environment, it should be licenced accordingly.
Evaluation is to ensure that the software will do what you want with your application.
Speak to your MS reseller or MS direct and purchase the nessesary licences, this will cost quite a bit.

Probably not the best of ideas to deploy an Evaluation Version of Sql into Production.
There is a free version of Sql Server. You can always take a look at that and see if it
suits your current needs, otherwise, you'd have to pay the piper 🙂
