  Hello,

  I am installing SQL server 2008 on my machine which have 500Gb HDD,4 GB Ram, I5 3rd gen processor and windows 7 Ultimate OS, but during the installation process I receive error message as bellow:

  TITLE: Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Setup

  ------------------------------

  The following error has occurred:

  Wait on the Database Engine recovery handle failed. Check the SQL Server error log for potential causes.

  can anyone help me how to solve it. I am receiving same message 3rd time while installing the SQL Server and instantiation process terminated.
