Monitoring sysadmin

    We seem to have a rogue sysadmin who is granting those rights to others. How can I monitor when someone is assigned to sysadmin?

    If you want to be notified straight away you could create a Server DDL trigger using the ADD_SERVER_ROLE_MEMBER event and use it to send an email and/or log it in a table somewhere.
