I have a long report which is split up into a few sections and the users want a contents page that tells them what page number each section starts on.
Is there a way to do this?
I have a page break after each table, so each section starts a new page has a textbox up the top and then the table under it.
I was hoping there would be something easy like a page number property of the textbox or table, but I can't find anything like that.
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Regards
Byron

There is an open MSConnect bug / feature request for this. You can use bookmark links, document map or custom code to mimic this but neither is easy and bug free. MS has said this will be added in a later version (but request was for SQL 2008 and not got it yet)

Hi Mark,
Thanks for the reply.
That is a shame that it doesn't really exist.
