Will the mirroring will be able to work properly if restricted growth or change the setting of max size of database

    I have a mirror database.

    they are set to unrestricted growth. As per company policy the database should be in restricted growth.

    should I change it to restricted growth or change the setting of max size , but then I am in confusion will the mirroring will be able to work properly.

    Hi,

    I would suggest not to enable Restricted growth in the Mirrored database server but enable it on Principal only, so if the growth is reached the application or users inserting/updating will get error while the mirrored database does not need to get the same error and cause any errors later.

    I am checking and done on principal but not on mirror because it requires down time.
