    I understood this question not at all. but I figured the correct answer had to be number two of five, the one above "this can never happen" which is *never* the right answer.

    I see that the final reference in the explanation is screwed up, the closing [/url] at the end is missing. Sorry about that. I guess it doesn't stop people following the link though, just makes it look ugly.

    A couple of typing errors in the explanation, too: "ne" for "be" and "of" for "or". Adjacent key errors, of course. I should check these things more carefully.

    It brought back memories from when I was first introduced to normalization. I don't remember learning about EKNF back then. But, a bit of research and I was up to speed (sort of).
