Problem with view SQL Agent Jobs

    I've currently got a problem with a user being able to view sql agent job properties, I've allocated them the relevent roles in sql server

    SQLAgentOperator

    SQLAgentReaderRole

    SQLAgentUserRole

    However for some reason they can physical see the job but when they double click or right click and select properties it just pops up a new job diaga box

    can anyone help

    Just tested this and cant get it to pop up the new job dialog box, it always opens the Job Properties for that particular job.

    You have to remember that to allow the user to change the job it has to be owned by that particular user, otherwise all the options will br grayed out. Gets very complex if you have 100 users trying to change 1 job.
