Wait Type

    Hi,

    I can see a Wait Type of LCK_M_XX.

    Does this mean the system is trying to aquire this type of Lock, or does it mean I am waiting because some other process has this type of lock on the required object?

    The process that is waiting is trying to acquire that lock.
