A fatal error occurred input error: 64?

  • Hi,

    Server OS - win 2008 R2 enterprise edition 64 bit

    Database - SQL server 2008 R2 enterprise edtion 64 bit

    SQL SP - Service pack 2

    Application server - Connected to Virtuval machine

    DATE/TIME:2/8/2013 12:15:44 PM

    DESCRIPTION:A fatal error occurred while reading the input stream from the network. The session will be terminated (input error: 64, output error: 0).

    please suggestion me, how to resolve this issues?

    I have checked as below query, it is return 1024 records

    SELECT * FROM sys.dm_os_ring_buffers where ring_buffer_type='RING_BUFFER_CONNECTIVITY'

  • For the above errors need to check as bleow points

    1. N/W connection break and not stable

    2. application not able to connect with user name & password which was mention exists configuration.

    3. server ip address changed
