With the announcement of the official slate for the BoD election for this year, the job of the NomCom is over. As soon as the oppurtunity to work in the NomCom came I grabbed it with both hands. I knew that it would be a high pressure job and it would take quite a bit of time from me. It was not an easy job but the effort and commitment from the team was just amazing.

This years NomCom team had an awesome bunch of talented and dedicated guys. Wayne Snyder (@SQLWayne) was in charge. Thomas LaRock (@SQLRockStar) was the represtative from the board. The other three members were me, Jack Corbett (@UncleBiguns) and Bradley Ball (@Sqlballs). All these guys took time out of their busy schedule to go though the application, work on interview questions and then Interview the candidates. The questions asked were great but the follow up questions were just awesome.

We have a great slate for this years election. I would like to Thank all the candidates for putting their hat in the ring. We the community appreciates your passion for PASS. I am sure who ever gets elected would do a geat job for SQLPass. I wish you all the very best for the election. May the best Men/Women win.

NomCom, It was a real pleasure working with you. Thank you for helping me through the process. I am still new to SQLPass. I started volunteering only from last year. So I am still green behind the gills. 🙂 I hope one day we can all get together and have a drink.
