  Hello all,

  I need some help assigning a special user some special privileges (Role).

  I need to give the user reading rights on all tables.

  I need to give the user creating right if views.

  I don't want to allow him ddl_admin since then he will be able to Drop & Truncate tables.

  I think I need to create flexible database role but I don't know how to.

  Create view requires CREATE VIEW permission in the database and ALTER permission on the schema in which the view is being created.

  Also db_datareader will do for reading from all tables.
