For those of you interested in cool new technology, you should definitely check out ?Building Windows 8? which is a blog from the team doing the building and development. Some cool things I liked included:

- building task manager to support 160 logical processors

- updating live tiles without draining power

There is a to of cool stuff and very transparent conversation from a Microsoft that is not usually this open about OS development.
