Hi,
I was installed sql 2005 standard edition on Win7 Ultimate, it was succeeded the installation. After that when i try login with windows authentication, it is not allowing to enter in to sql. It is showing login failed.
I checked the services is running on local system account.
can any one please tell what is the issue..and sol.

are you logged on as domain or local user?
if you are as domain user, did you grant yourself admin rights during install?
are you part of local admins on the OS?

I am the part of local admin in my local machine (win 7 ultimate).
