Space - the Final Frontier!

Now, Red Gate is an ingenious company, with ingeniously simple software tools, but when I first got the Friends-of-Red-Gate memo, I thought I definitely was dreaming!  Maybe even drinking something foreign in the water.  For sure, spaced-out! 🙂  I thought they were releasing another great new product, but oh no, that wasn't good enough! 

Over at RG Headquarters, they're always trying to come up with the next BIG idea, and this one is going to be hard to top!  Literally!  Yes, it was just announced at the Red Gate booth at PASS Summit 2011, that Red-Gate will be sending a lucky (maybe dizzy) DBA into S-P-A-C-E !  I'm not talking database space, I'm talking, 3-2-1 Liftoff!!

No that the U.S.A has sadly seen the end of its NASA\government backed Space Shuttle program, Red-Gate will boldly break the boundries of any SQL Software Company has to date, and give us SQL Server enthusiasts something to cheer about. 

I don't know how they're going to pull it off, but they are definitely going to go where NO DBA HAS GONE BEFORE!  Talk about the Future of SQL Server!  So much for Denali and SQLAzure!
