We just installed Reporting Services 2008 onto a new server. We fumbled our way through the install, set up and most of the configuration.
I have two issues-
Issue 1: whenever anyone goes to our RS webpage to look/generate a report it asks for a log-in (username/password) is there an easy way to turn this off? We have looked through MS documents and it wants us to alter the config file but isn't very helpful in exactly how we do so. I would like the system to just use the log-in of the computer as the log-in for RS.
Issue 2: As myself I can go to RS webpage and see all and generate all and its wonderful, if I log in as a general user, I get an error telling me that the Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage. I have tried altering/added the User group to RS permissions I have even matched it to my own that does work and I get no where.
If someone can please help it would be great. I have spent 2 days now working on installs and configs and I feel like I am going to through my computer out the window. I hate MS!!
-Please help!

I believe issue 1 can be fixed by adding the report server to trusted sites in IE.
I don't know what's happening with issue 2. Can you post the exact error message? Have you tried running SSRS locally on the SSRS server using the general user? This will usually give you a better error message.

It does in fact fix the issue. Thank you very much. Not sure why that hadn't occurred to me before.

Great. How'd you fix issue 2?

Issue 2 seemed to be a permission that we had missed.
