Hi.
I am having a problem installing SQL SERVER 2005 on my windows 7 enterprise 32 bit operating system.
The installation never completes. The error log file states I need to have IIS installed (I do and it is running).
I get a message stating that SP3 needs to be run after the install for compatibility issues, if the install never runs not sure how I can add it. I ran the SP3 anyway.
I have attached screen shots of the error message, error logs and my iis running.
Appreciate any help.

There is not enough detail in what you have provided to give a definite answer...
However, when you installed IIS, did you also install IIS6 compatibility, which is required by SQL Server 2005.
In order to run SQL 2005 SSRS on a machine running IIS7, you need to include the following IIS components:
IIS-HttpRedirect
IIS-HttpCompressionDynamic
IIS-IIS6ManagementCompatibility
IIS-Metabase
IIS-WMICompatibility
IIS-LegacyScripts

Did some more research and based on the following article from MSDN,
SQL SERVER 2005 Enterprise is not supported on WIndows 7.

It can often be a problem to test out a version of SQL Server, unless you can easily get access to the operating systems you need.
I subscribe to TechNet, which costs about GBP £200 per year (plus about £50 extra in year 1), which give me access to all Microsoft operating systems, server softwaer (such as SQL Server, SharePoint, etc) and Office.
Technet allows me to build the environments I need when developing and testing SQL FineBuild, and also for charities that I do work for. Installing your own operating systems is a good way to extend your skills, so you end up learning about things other than just SQL Server.
Within an office environment, it can be difficult to build your own systems without impacting on corporate networks, but if you have a business case your employer should help you find a way to build the environment you need for your work.

LTDEL9C9H5R1 : The current system does not meet the minimum hardware requirements for this SQL Server release. For system requirements, see Hardware and Software Requirements, in the readme file or in SQL Server Books Online.
What are the Hardware and Software requirements?
