Not able to run Integration service...

    Hi Friends,

    My production server has SQL server 2008R2 installed. They have BIDS installed but it seems they did not add the features of Integration service when they installed it. So i am not able to run the dtsx package outside of BIDS. Is it possible to add the features of Integration service with the existing SQL server set up or Do I need to reinstall the SQL server set up?

    Please gimme your suggestion friends...

    FYI i have attached a screen shot of the error...

    You can simple run the setup.exe of SQL server from the installation media and add integration services to the existing install.

    If doing so, It will not affect the production server as well as the existingdatabase for sure? I am just curious...
