Our SQL Service for our web-site just seems to be randomly stopping. What would cause something like this? Is there anything we can check??
Thank you

One common cause for the ACT7 service to stop is when Windows Automatic Updates attempts to install an update to SQL. The Act7 instance is protected - the sql update stops the service > fails to apply > doesn't restart the service. Usually this would only occur once a day (scheduled update time) but worth looking. If an update is trying to apply, you can hide it (remove it) or search our knowledgebase for steps to manually apply it.

None of these 3 links are useful.
The first one is about the ACT7 service - which is not the SQL Server service - although the path of Windows update is worth investigating.
The second one is about SQL Server Agent and the third one about service broker.
I said it before, and I'll say it again: posting the first 5 random Google links into a topic isn't helping anyone. Certainly not the person who posted the question, but also not you, as your reputation (what's left of it) is being damaged time after time.
Need an answer? No, you need a question
