How do you backup a maintenance plan?

  Good morning,

  Is it wholly contained in the MSDB database?

  Does anyone know the table list? Can it be ported from another SQL server?

  It's completely contained in msdb, so it can be backed up.

  It's also an SSIS package, so you can open it in BIDSs and move it that way as well to another server, just like any other package
