Is it possible to specify more than one file extension in a single Maintenance Cleanup Task or do you have to specify a new task for each file type?
Or can you specify all files with a * ?
TIA

Why not just "try it" Set up a task to delete any *.* files and set it to run in 5 minutes, then see if it fails. :w00t:

I did setup a task but the least amount of time is a file that is older than an hour. So I created a file but didn't feel like waiting an hour (or searching for older files). Lol. Read BOL and did a small search on-line too but I couldn't find any mention of it.
I don't think *.* will work since .bak doesn't work. Maybe * but I doubt it. We'll find out though soon.
