I'm struggling to find out what the latest patch is for SQL Server 2008 R2.
I need to install SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition 64-bit but I thought SP2 was enough. However it appears there are some cumulative updates available but not sure how to find the latest one.
Is this the latest? http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2754552
Any ideas?

There are victims, there are executioners, and there are bystanders... and the 'objectivity' of the bystander calls for inaction while other heads fall.

I've installed SQL Server 2008 R2 with SP2 now I want to install the latest Cumulative updates which I also downloaded from http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2754552#appliesto and this is what happened:
I ran the SQLServer2008R2-KB2754552-x86.exe file and went through the installation then re-started the server but when I check the version of SQL it doesn't show the correct build number which is 10.50.4266.
Then I tried to re-install but now it just says there is no SQL instance to update?!
Anyone experience this problem?
