SSRS 2008 Report Builder 3.0 - Is it possible to use two instances?

    Hi there,

    I have just upgraded reporting services, and thus to report builder 3.0 and have encountered an issue which I'm wondering if it can be fixed.

    When you load report builder you can only have one URL specified in the options.

    Then when you go to find a datasource, only one instance is listed under 'Recent Sites and Servers'...

    Is there anyway to choose a different instance when selecting your instance? Both instances are on the same box.

    Is it possible to upload the images as an attachment of your post. (look below at the post options, there is a section called attachments).

    I can't see Imageshack images from here.

    Regarding the first one:

    if you enter the URL of the second instance, it will probably be listed under Recent Sites and Servers the next time.

    Regarding the second one:

    you can install SSRS on two instances, but Report Builder stays the same. So I'm afraid you are stuck with your default configuration. You can leave it empty of course, to avoid any confusion.
