Using Maintenance Plan to do Full Backup with Format

    Hi, I have a maintenance plan that does full backup of all DBs on a server. I would like these backups to be done with format. Unfortunately, I don't see the option to do this in the "Back Up Database Task" window. It also doesn't seem to be possible to manually change the T-SQL for this. Does anyone know of a workaround?

    Not 100%, but I think selecting Overwrite on the option 'If Backup files exist:' implies FORMAT.

    That option is only available if you choose "Backup databases across one or more files". I am using the option "Create a backup file for every database"
