hey,
i forgotten sa account password for my server.i dont know how to recover it.
i tried to retrieve using -m in the sql service properties but
adminstartor account is not there in the server.
itried using other user other existing with db_creator access.
but i am trying changing the password it is not changing
can any help me on this how to retrive sa password

Also, Don't you have any other windows account with sa privileges?

post details of the steps you took to start sql server in single user mode.
Was the windows account you were logged in with a member of the local administrators group?
