For the average basic installation I don't really see any 'gotta upgrade' reason. Heck I am still fighting to upgrade some systems to SQL 2008. We had a meeting last week with a vendor and we want to upgrade the application to their latest version which requires Reporting Services... they STILL only support Reporting Services 2005 AND the application servers are STILL only supported on Win2003! Talk about being behind!
