One of my clients is planning to upgrade to SQL Server 2012 and is keen on using AlwaysON. He will have 3 replicas. One primary, one readable secondary and third one non-readable secondary (located in a different data center).
All three servers have 2 quad core CPUs.
So it looks We need to pay 6874*8 = $54992 for primary replica.
My question is do we need to pay for secondary replicas as well as it'll be readable? Didnt find any reference to this.

Also, I understand it comes in a pack of 2, price of which should be 6874*2 = $13748
however I find sites which are selling for over 20k. Am I missing anything?

Any time you have licensing and pricing questions, you're best source is Microsoft. But, in all the conversations I've had with them about this, my understanding is, if you have a server as an active part of an Availability Group, whether it's read only or stand by, you're paying for a license. But, as I said, I would check with Microsoft. They cut deals, have specials, and interpret the rules different ways at different times.
