Setup:
SQL Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition x64 (10.50.1600)
Windows Server 2008 R2 Enterprise x64
When attempting to configure the filestream feature through the SQL Server Configuration Manager I receive the error "You do not have permissions to configure FILESTREAM feature. You need Windows Administrator rights to configure FILESTREAM feature."
Now I've set this up on 8 other servers with the same version of SQL Server but the only difference is the one that fails is a failover cluster.
Anyone ever experience this issue? I've googled this error message and have not found anything useful. My domain account is in the local adminstrators group as well as I had one of our networking guys that is a domain admin (and local admin) try this as well. No luck.

Any chance anyone has some thoughts on this error?

Still an ongoing issue with MS support. To date they've had me do the following:
- upgrade to SQL Server 2008 R2 SP2 CU1
- run the repair option
- manually enter registry values
Still no luck.
