I am new to SSRS. I have installed SQL Server 2008 Developer Edition Database Engine and Reporting Services locally in my laptop. I am using windows local account, which has administrative privilege. I am able to connect to SSRS from management studio using windows authentication. I have created item roles. I need to assign users to the the roles I have created. When I log on Report Manager in internet explorer (http://localhost/Reports/Pages/Folder.aspx) after the entering the windows credential, I am able to log on. But all the menus are invisible and I am unable to do any thing. I assume, there is a security issue in this scenario. My operating system is 64bit Windows Home Premium. Please help me to fix this issue.

Hi Zahran,
If you run IE as an administrator do the menus show?
Run into this myself in the past but I can never remember how to fix it 🙂
Cheers

The other thing I can think of is:
Are you accessing it via http://computername/reports or http://localhost/reports ?
Try the Run as admin with both.
Other than that, there's loads to look at on MSDN:
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Search/en-US?query=Report%20Manager%20blank%202008&rn=SQL
Hope you find the solution!
Thanks
Gaz
