I have not worked with Full-Text Search very much and what little I did was limited,
It has been three years since I worked with it and it was on a SQL Server 2000 machine.
I recall repopulating it, moving it and the database to another Server, etc.
But I could not find where you repopulate it in SQL Server 2005.
But really what I need to do when I get the new server is upgrade the Database and Full-Text Search Catalog to SQL Server 2008 R2.
I have not found what I need so far.
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

Please make sure your Full text enabled tables and their columns ,once u restored on the other server, u have to make manually the fulltext columns on the particular table against restored DB that automatically Populated in 2008 once u created the Fulltext catalog..

Thank you for the response.
Do you have a little more detail or could you please point me to an article that lists actions required Step By Step?
