  Please let me know the process and the steps to be taken care during Upgrading Full Text Catalog objects from sql 2000 to 2008.

  Not sure regarding 2K to 2K8 FTS catalog upgrade but from 2K5 to 2K8 catalog will be automatically rebuilt when you do Sql Server upgrade

  (did this recently).

  As far as 2K to 2K5 concerned- if I am correct it's same difference :-).

  To resume- 2K to 2K8 will be done automatically while Sql Server upgrading
