Can someone give a step by step process to find out how to analyse the involvement of sql server for getting this kind of alerts every now and then. It seems to be SAN issue, but i want to make sure its not a sql related issue, any steps to check all the resources in sql server would be greatly appriciated.
Issue: SQL I/O requests taking longer than 15 seconds to complete
Thanks

And then if you cannot prive it is a SAN problem, how do you prove it is an SQL problem? 🙂
Thanks,
Jared
Heh, not sure if you read through Brent's blog on that, but it's pretty thorough. If you find out it's NOT a SAN problem... you found your problem. 😉
Never stop learning, even if it hurts. Ego bruises are practically mandatory as you learn unless you've never risked enough to make a mistake.
