Using Firefox to connect to SSRS prompt for the user to give their windows credentials to be able to see .........\reports, which is all good due to Firefox not passing through windows credentials, but when the data source is also set to run off windows credentials Firefox passes through NT AUTHORITY\ANONYMOUS LOGIN.
is there a way other than USE IE, to make Firefox take in the actual logged in windows creds for both website and data source logins?

answered one way of doing it
in the address bar, type about:config, find network.automatic-ntlm-auth.trusted-uris, doubleclick, type localhost, then enter, works great on the local machine.
now is there a global setting somewhere

There's no global setting, but you just have to add the name of any other servers that you want NTLM pass through for.
