Hi
I am stumped.
This is probably very simple but i cant work out how to do it.
How do you add a footer to a group in a tablix.
Thanks in advance

I had the same trouble until I realized the the triple line is actually a detail line (which can't have a footer iirc).
I don't have ssrs in front of me but iirc you need to do a right click, modify group and here there you can add footer / header.
Worst comes to worst you can always redo the tablix (or another one to redo the begining steps, then maybe copy / paste).
I'm sure you'll find it in #1.

not 100% sure and still no access to my installation.
IIRC you can create more than 1 footer (once 1 is active, you add a new line under and you have a 2nd row footer). So there must be a way.
Hopefully adding a new group and copying the cells over is easy enough to fix it for ya.

yeah its a good work around but not that flexible
i used to create reports in ssrs and i have had a break for a while and now i have gone back to it i remember it being a lot easier and a lot more flexible
i am sure you used to be able to assign data sets to rectangles and then have a rectangles within rectangles and use those as like your groups and layers
has something changed?

Never tried that.
My reports are really complexe... but in the business analysis phase. Once that part is over it's usually a simple matrix or just a flat out list of things to process that looks like a well designed excel list.

In the Group properties window, right click the group or click the selection arrow to expand the list of options. Select Add Total, select Before to add Header, After to add Footer.

but.
When we delete the footer of group which already created than at It is difficult to add footer to group at that movement.
