How to get the size of a file from sql server queries

  Hi,

  can anybody tell me how to get the size of files,which is available in hard disk. I will be giving the file name with full path. I just want the file size. for example if i gave like below

  @filesize=<functionname("c:\sample.txt")>

  One more thing, by using dir command in dos we can get but is there any way to get the size of file only
