I'm trying to setup permission for the user to access specific reports in the Report Manager 3.0
i have sql server 2008 r2, i created reports, and i need to grant permissions to the users to view some reports only.
i added the user and granted Browser role for the user, on the Main folder--> and the Report item security properties. but the user is gettting the
"User 'Domain\XXX' does not have required permissions. Verify that sufficient permissions have been granted and Windows User Account Control (UAC) restrictions have been addressed."
can someone tell me what am i missing and where else i need to grant permission to the user?

for connectiong to the SSMS i'm using the common connection that i have in the shared datasource.
so the user for the reports folder is differnt from the user used in the data source sql connection

I added domain user and granted user permissions on the folder, and the report item. using the report link directly user is able to access and exectue the report. but when accessing the report thru the folder is giving the above UAC permission error. user is us
where else i need to add this user to? to Windows users and where else?
