Hi,
I've started seeing the following errors in the SQL logs recently
DESCRIPTION:SSPI handshake failed with error code 0x80090304 while establishing a connection with integrated security; the connection has been closed. [CLIENT: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx]
From doing some research, it seems that these errors are related to the communication between the SQL server and the domain controllers. This makes sense when I look at the times of the errors, they are all within a few minutes of the DC reboot. So my best guess is that this is caused by a reboot of the DC that authenticated the SQL server.
The only strange thing is that sometimes, the client IP is of the SQL Server's cluster IP, other times it is of the corporate AV server that houses its database on here.
Can anyone shed some light on things?
Thanks,
Bodsda

We had the same problem. This may be relevant for your situation too: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2002203
