sys.dm_os_performance_counters - free space in tempdb (kb)

    Hi All

    Just a quick one to say how is the Free Space in TempDB (KB) metric under sys.dm_os_performance_counters calculated?

    I have sized TempDB at 4 data files of 10GB and the log at 5GB so would expect to see it at a value of around 45GB but its actually displaying free space at 70GB, so just wondering where it thinks the extra 25GB has come from?

    Bumping this. I still haven't found the calculation, unsure if someone else may know.
