When tried to install sql 2008 R2 64 bit we got error result faculty code : 1220 . we didnot find any thing in logs .
we are unable to open the window , can any one suggest how to resolve this .

I'm going to ask a stupid question.

Did you ensure that the hardware and OS you're installing is 64 bit?

EDIT: My bad. Googling the error indicates a language problem. What is your server collation and what language is the install package using?
