Hi All,
Im getting below error while creating mirror, please suggest me on it
Error: 1418 - Microsoft SQL Server - The server network address can not be reached or does not exist. Check the network address name and reissue the command. The server network endpoint did not respond because the specified server network address cannot be reached or does not exist

First double check that both servers are up and can see each other, next check on both nodes that tcp/ip and named pipes are enabled.

Also make sure that the Windows Firewall is disabled

tcp/ip and named pipes are enabled and firewall option is set to OFF, still im getting same error

Write FQDN.
For example: ServerName.DomainName.com

Please attempt to use the IP address instead of the server name.

Well if the IP/FQDN doesn't resolve the issue can you confirm that the database was restored with the NO RECOVERY option on the secondary? Also run a select from sys.database_mirroring_endpoints and from the state column confirm it's started?
