Is there a keyboard shortcut to move between open queries. ie. In IE and Firefox, you can press ctrl + number to move to a specific tab

CTRL+Tab is one option. See SQL Server Management Studio Keyboard Shortcuts for a fairly comprehensive list.

Not only is that one option it works in just about any application in windows that has multiple windows open. Browser tabs (most browsers), query windows, the list goes on and on.
