how to install sql server 2008 r2

    i already installed sql server 2008 r2 but i didnt add the feature of oleb micro soft jet and i also left the management related features like

    didnt install data tier application,policy management,data collection,resource governer, maintance plan , sql server log,database mail

    i just want to add this feature in sql server 2008 r2 how can i repair my sql server 2008 r2

    You can put in the disk and go through the steps again and it will identify what is installed and what is not. Just add the things that you need.

    There are certain features that are not available during install and must be configured through the SQL Server Configuration Manager (you can find it in your Start -> Programs menu under SQL Server -> Configuration Tools). Also, if you look, SQL Server Installation Center is there too with some resources and help files.

    Depending on what you want, you may also have to go into SSMS and use sp_configure to change server properties.

    EDIT: A note on maintenance plans. These are SSIS packages that you have to actually create. They do not magically appear upon installation.
