error 18452

  • Hi i am not able to login from my local system to other system on windows authentication mode. The other system is configured for windows authentication mode and i have access to system from administrator account .

    Regards

  • Does the administrative account you're using have access to SQL? It's no longer a default that all administrative accounts are sysadmin.

  • Yah its having SYSadmin role on sqlserver

  • Check the error log for the detail of the error.

  • Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with Windows authentication. (.Net SqlClient Data Provider)

  • Well that's pretty clear.

Use an account that is in a trusted domain or speak to the domain admin about adding a trust relationship.
