i have setup a filestream share and enabled it for streaming, and gave it a share name:
\\myPC\MSSQLSERVER_FS
Im an admin on my pc and granted myself full permissions on this share yet i still get "access denied".
Is there a way i can view the files in the filestream directory, or is this as per design?

Please refer to FILESTREAM Overview, specifically the section regarding "Integrated Security", quoted here for ease of reference:Only the account under which the SQL Server service account runs is granted NTFS permissions to the FILESTREAM container. We recommend that no other account be granted permissions on the data container.
Im aware of that. im just playing around on my laptop with a few instances, trying something out. Even when i grant access to the share for my account, i still get "access Denied".
