  are you talking about the SA account?

  if so SQL will not allow you to continue the installation without a windows user all so being a sysadmin, if you know this account, you can login as it to windows and run SSMS to change the SA account password.

  if not you can start SQL in single user mode and any person who is in the administrators group of the server will get SA rights who can then change the SA password while in single user mode
