Help getting data to chart as expected.

  I’m new to SSRS and I’m trying to get some data to chart the way I would like.

  I’ve attached some screen shots of my data and a basic of what I’m trying to get the chart to look like. Basically I’m trying to get Quarterly Totals to go along the bottom and then each item (or record) would put a point for each month’s value on the chart.

  So, the Month’s Totals would be at the bottom and the value for the actual item would go from left to right making a line graph at each point.

  I’ve tried different settings but can’t seem to get it. I’ve also looked around at different examples and can’t get really find a sample similar to what I’m trying to do. I’m guessing there is something I’m missing. Some kind of grouping or setting I need to do but I can’t seem to figure it out.

  Any help would be appreciated.

  Hi, Its the issue with the way your data is structured.

  If you have data in this format you will be fine.

  Description Month Value

  123 - Test 3 Months 4000

  123 - Test 6 Months 5000

  123 - Test 9 Months 6000

  326 - Test111 3 Months 9000

  326 - Test111 6 Months 10000
